Indians are very well known for their spices and the multitude of ingredients they put into each serve of their food. Each region in the country has distinct uses of spices and ingredients in order to make unique food. Like many places in the world, India’s tastes are very different. Their food is the reflection of the blending of multiple cultures in the subcontinent. The influence of many civilizations have created an interesting mix of cuisines that can only really be appreciated once tasted.


Indians are renowned for their spicy foods. There are differences in the preparation and usage of spice in Indian cuisine.
